CATAMARAN

Company "Intershipping" Ltd carries out its activities through two shipping bases: Marine shipping base - Burgas and River shipping base.

River shipping base of "Intershipping" Ltd is located in the town of Vidin. Here is the home port of the river RO-RO ships of the company. They are catamarans and transport on their main deck wheel equipment of all kinds: trucks, trailers, cars, large-building and other equipments as well as oversized cargo.

The ships "Han Asparuh" and "Han Tervel" are built in shipyards in the town of Deggendorf / Germany /. They have a loading capacity of 1370 t. Each ship is equipped with two engines(927 kw per engine). In the right side is shown catamaran built in Deggendorf.

Ships "Han Kardam" and "Han Krum" are built in shipyards in the Serbian town of Apatin and town of Mačvanska Mitrovica. They have a loading capacity of 1372 t. Both ships are equipped with two engines (793 kw per engine).

The four catamarans are working on operated RO-RO lines in pre-announced schedules.

Ships are equipped with navigation equipment of the most prestigious type and they are working at 24-hour continuous regime of navigation.

River shipping base of "Intershipping" Ltd also owns 4 ro-ro non-propelled barges: "INTERSHIPPING-1", "INTERSHIPPING-2", "INTERSHIPPING-3" and "INTERSHIPPING-4". They are two-deck and three-deck RO-RO units intended for carriage of trailers and cars. The barges work on the same lines and schedules as the catamarans. They are driven two by two in convoy by self-propelled vessels chartered from Fleet "BRP"AD-Ruse.

The river RO-RO shipments committed by "Intershipping" Ltd are subject to the arrangements of the Danube Fleets, materialized in Bratislava agreements, latest revision 2005.

The company is working on an approved project of the European Marco Polo under the name Via Danube.

The shipments of "Intershipping" Ltd are used with prestige in the countries of Europe and Asia. Evidence for this are the 27-year tradition of activity, highly skilled crews, flawless operation, reliability and convenience of travel, the guaranteed delivery time, schedule with announced days of the week for departure and arrival, conditions of carriage, the agency and the logistics of combined transport schemes, leading to the fuel economy and taxes as well as improvements in the environment.
